Home and Away kills off a character in dramatic new scenes

 An ongoing story comes to a head.

Home and Away airs a dramatic death scene on UK screens next week.

New villain Jacob Cameron is killed off as his sinister storyline with local doctor Bree comes to a head.

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Jacob hides out from the police after kidnapping Bree from Summer Bay.

Aware that the authorities will be looking for them both, Jacob forces Bree to camp out with him at a remote location.

A terrified Bree pretends to be enjoying her reunion with Jacob as she desperately tries to keep him on side.

In reality, Bree remains disgusted by her violent husband and looks for an opportunity to escape.

When Bree gets a rare moment alone at the makeshift campsite, she writes a note to her new love interest Remi Carter – hoping that he'll get to read it one day.

Jacob returns and soon finds the note, which sends him into another fury.

Bree stands her ground against Jacob, revealing how she really feels as she expresses her hatred for him.

Jacob becomes violent once again and the upsetting scenes see Bree briefly lose consciousness.

When Bree comes round again, she's horrified to see that Jacob is now digging a grave.

Realising that she's facing a fight for her life, Bree sneaks up behind Jacob and attacks him with a shovel.

Bree calls the emergency services to deal with the situation, which brings police officer Rose Delaney and paramedic Xander Delaney to the scene.

Although Bree desperately tries to revive Jacob, she realises that it's no use as Xander declares that he's dead.

Home and Away previously aired these scenes in Australia as the opening week of the 2023 season on Channel 7.

Home and Away airs these scenes on Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
