Home and Away's Kirby Aramoana struggles as ex-boyfriend Bob returns

Home and Away's Kirby Aramoana gets a blast from the past on UK screens next week as her ex-boyfriend Bob Forsyth makes a return to Summer Bay.

Kirby split from Bob last year, as disputes within four-piece band Lyrik led to Bob's departure from the group. The professional tensions tore the couple apart, as Kirby backed her bandmates over her boyfriend.

Since Bob's departure, Theo Poulos has taken over as Lyrik's lead singer. Theo has also started a relationship with Kirby, and the pair are currently on solid ground.

In next week's episodes, Theo and Kirby celebrate after doing a successful radio interview to promote Lyrik's music.

Unfortunately, their joy is cut short when Bob returns without warning. Bob wastes little time before charming Kirby in front of Theo, hoping to cause trouble.

Theo refuses to be rattled so easily, and he maturely agrees to give Kirby some space to deal with Bob in private.

Once alone with Bob, Kirby is taken aback as he declares that he regrets leaving her and now wants her back.

Meanwhile, Theo broods alone at the garage, listening to Lyrik's exciting radio premiere.

Theo feels disappointed that he hasn't been able to share this big moment with Kirby, thanks to Bob's return throwing a spanner in the works.

It seems that Theo has nothing to worry about, as Kirby walks out on Bob following his desperate pleas for a reunion.

Bob still refuses to admit defeat and leave town, telling Felicity Newman that he needs a place to stay. Tane and Nikau Parata reluctantly agree that he can stick around for one night.

Kirby asks Theo for further space to process this complicated situation, but later assures him that he's the one she wants.

Bob is devastated to witness the couple's cosy moment, and things only get worse when Kirby tells Bob that he's no longer welcome in her life.

Tensions threaten to boil over when persistent Bob mischievously challenges Theo to a game of pool.

As they talk, Bob tries to stir up problems by claiming that Kirby has a history of rebound relationships, but always ends up back with him. Will Theo believe him?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Thursday, January 19 and Friday, January 20 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
