Home and Away fans left surprised after noticing a subtle detail during an episode from 2004: ‘I never knew this’

Fans of the soap opera Home and Away have discovered a long-forgotten detail.

When Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) revealed she had braces in 2004 on the Channel Seven show, some viewers were shocked.

Leah was stepping in for Sally Fletcher and Flynn Saunders at the time.

Several additional fans said they have no recollection of Leah ever wearing braces after a fan posted a picture from this scenario on Facebook.

Leah had braces on her teeth when she gave birth to Pippa, but I was unaware of them. They wrote, “Thought only kids/teens wore braces.

Since I began watching the soap opera in 2006, I haven’t seen her with them.

A few seasoned Home and Away fans said they remembered Leah’s presence, while most were equally as astonished.

One person said, “I suppose she had them for a time,” while another said, “I remember when she got braces.”

It follows a fan’s recent discovery of another obscure element in an earlier episode of the show.

The viewer posted a picture from the 2018 wedding of Ziggy Astoni and Brodie Morgan (Jackson Heywood and Sophie Dillman) on Facebook.

They noted that Kirsty Marillier, who currently plays Rose Delaney, had appeared as an extra in the background.

It comes after an eagle-eyed fan recently pointed out another hidden detail in a previous episode of the show. The viewer shared this image to Facebook from Brodie Morgan (Jackson Heywood) and Ziggy Astoni’s (Sophie Dillman) wedding in 2018

“I had no idea Rose had previously appeared in Home and Away!” Have I been obliviously ignorant? They composed.

A different commenter expressed surprise on behalf of other viewers, stating, “Well, it was a long ago and we wouldn’t have realized who she was.”

Another person remarked, “Very fascinating, wouldn’t have recognized her then, she must’ve been an extra, nice on her.”

They pointed out that Kirsty Marillier (pictured), who now plays Rose Delaney, had appeared in the background as an extra
