Hollyoaks airs shocking Grace twist in Warren deathbed story

Try to keep ahead of this one…

Warren Fox's cat-and-mouse game with mum Norma Crow and Grace Black over his health has continued in Hollyoaks.

Friday's first-look E4 episode featured numerous twists and turns, with several reversals that may have upended viewers' expectations for what was actually happening in Warren's on-going health storyline.

Warren has previously demanded his mum start planning his funeral since he may only have months to live due to liver damage.

He was determined to keep his mind off both his health and vendetta against Norma in order to spend quality time with children Sophie and Sebastian for his last Christmas.

Elsewhere, Norma was putting pressure on her crew to find Warren a viable liver transplant because she'd claimed she wasn't a match for him, after all.

Warren stumbled into Sienna's Christmas celebration for the twins, though it was clear he was worse for wear. The twins looked on in horror as their dad collapsed into the Christmas tree during a scuffle with Ethan.

After Sienna told him off, Warren returned home to find Norma fixing up his flat with Christmas decorations in order to make up for all of the holidays they hadn't spent together.

"You're the reason I lost my kids in the first place," Warren snarled. "You made me choose. I don't take orders from you! You are not a viable match for my liver, so I don't need you anymore.

"I am gonna do what I should have done a long time ago.

Meanwhile, Grace Black had been dispatched to meet with a doctor, revealing she'd paid him off to lie to Norma. It turns out Norma is a viable match for Warren after all.

"Warren isn't innocent and neither is his donor," Grace argued. "I am making this choice to get what I want and what I want is Norma's empire!"

Will Grace be caught out?

Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
