Home and Away spoilers: Heather kidnaps Marilyn and traps her friends
After a confrontation with Leah (Ada Nicodemou), Heather (Sofia Nolan) made the decision to vacate her caravan and move on in Home and Away.
Although this behaviour isn’t of concern to the police, despite Marilyn’s (Emily Symons) attempts to report her as a missing person – Heather is just a traveller who continued on to her next location – Marilyn is furious with Leah and blames her for ruining her second chance with her daughter.
Alf (Ray Meagher), Irene (Lynne McGranger) and Roo (Georgie Parker) are shocked to discover that Leah and Marilyn had an argument – they’re best friends, this never happens! They stage an intervention and get the two women together at a table in the Diner to work out their differences.
However, when Leah is pressed to explain what happened with Marilyn, she can’t go into detail – she’s been sworn to secrecy about Heather. Marilyn is questioned next, but then her phone pings. It’s a text – and it’s from Heather! Marilyn immediately makes an excuse and rushes out, leaving her friends perplexed.
Heather has returned to the Bay, to Marilyn’s delight, and she wants to make amends. She admits to breaking into Leah’s place, and comes up with a plan to win back Marilyn’s friends.
Marilyn is grateful that Heather is going to such an effort to repair, and happily goes with her daughter to a beautiful sandstone property in the countryside. Heather explains it was her old boarding school, and says she wants to host everyone for brunch.
Roo, Leah and Alf receive digital invites to a meal at the property, and they are all confused. What is the occasion? Leah calls Marilyn for clarification, but Heather confiscates her phone.
Marilyn becomes wary of Heather’s behaviour, and asks for her phone back. But Heather has other ideas – she creates a distraction, then smacks Marilyn over the head with a candle holder, knocking her unconscious.
When Marilyn awakes, she is tied to a chair in a room with a screen showing CCTV of the whole property.
A sinister Heather says she just wants to talk, while Marilyn sees her friends arriving on the camera and begs her to leave her friends alone. Heather gags Marilyn and watches, helpless, as Heather lures her friends into a dangerous trap…
