Home and Away reveals Jacob's frightening return in Bree story
Bree has been having to deal with her abusive ex, Jacob, in Home and Away¸ and the violent man looks like he could cause some serious harm if news about her affair with Remi gets out.
Bree has been trying to break free from Jacob for some time now, and upcoming scenes to air in Australia will show her taking a positive step to do just that.
While enjoying the traditional Summer Bay pastime of surfing, Bree reveals that she plans on asking Jacob for a divorce.
And not only that, but she has no plans on putting her life on hold while it happens, and she tells Remi that she wants them both to head out on an official date.
“Remi's first feeling is relief that Bree is empowered to take the steps towards liberating herself from the toxic relationship,'' Adam Rowland, who plays Remi, said while discussing the storyline with TV Week.
But Jacob soon gets wind of what is happening, and true to form, he has no plans of letting Bree slip away from him.
He turns up at Bree’s room and makes it very clear that he will not allow her to move on, and that she has no choice but to leave Summer Bay with him right away.
Remi soon arrives and is alarmed by what he sees, but he is unable to help when Jacob overpowers him and makes a cruel threat to break the musician's hands with a hammer if Bree does not do as he says.
“He's just thinking, 'Whatever you do, don't turn that hammer on Bree,'" Adam added. "'Smash both my hands – I don't care – but please don't hurt her!'"
While Remi is willing to suffer the consequences of trying to protect the woman he loves, will Bree allow it to happen, or will she decide to leave town with Jacob?
