Home and Away's Tane and Nikau face a new struggle after court appearance

 The biker gang troubles aren't fully resolved.

Home and Away's Tane and Nikau Parata are left disappointed after their court appearance on UK screens next week.

Tane and Nikau have been awaiting an important court date after getting caught up in a dangerous situation with Tex Wheeler's biker gang.

Although Tane was cooperating with the police and working undercover, he and Nikau have both been publicly named for receiving formal charges.

This maintains their cover and prevents the biker gang from getting suspicious.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Tane and Nikau return from court with the good news that everything went as planned and they were cleared of the charges.

Unfortunately, the Parata duo aren't fully able to move on. The cover-up of what really happened that day remains ongoing, so nobody in the local community can know about their collaboration with the police.

Nikau worries that friends and neighbours will always think the worst of him and Tane, as the truth hasn't been publicly revealed.

Fortunately, Nikau is relieved when his boss John Palmer takes a relaxed approach to the situation. Pleased that Nikau is free and doesn't have a criminal record, John decides not to ask any further questions.

Tane finds it more difficult to move on and starts asking John some surprising questions about the gym's lease.

Tane soon announces to Nikau that he wants to sell the gym, no longer sure that the business is for him.

This decision seems to be partly inspired by the fact that Tane's brother Ari used stolen money to buy the gym, which no longer sits well with Tane.

Nikau encourages Tane not to make any hasty decisions and suggests they should use the Taiaha for some spiritual guidance.
