Home and Away's Cash Newman upsets Marilyn and Irene as Heather drama continues

Home and Away's Cash Newman starts to upset his friends and neighbours on UK screens next week.

Cash is determined to change his attitude to life and work following his involvement in the recent shooting incident and being dumped by Jasmine Delaney.

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Cash returns to work for the first time since his stint in hospital. The local policeman dismisses suggestions that it's too early for him to be back on the beat, but he quickly starts to arouse concern with his harsh new approach to policing.

One of Cash's first tasks is dealing with Marilyn Chambers as her secret daughter Heather Fraser continues to make her life a misery..

Heather frames Marilyn by hacking into her social media account and sending an abusive message to her adopted son Jett, cruelly claiming that an adopted child can never compare to a biological one.

Marilyn's ex-husband John Palmer is horrified when he finds out about the message, but Marilyn firmly denies sending it.

Before long, Marilyn is facing scrutiny from all directions as everyone wonders whether she's capable of writing such a nasty comment.

Marilyn's best friend Roo Stewart sees this as the latest in a long line of incidents involving her behaving strangely, so she wonders if Marilyn should see a doctor about her medication.

Roo's father Alf is less convinced that Marilyn was responsible, suspecting that somebody may have hacked into her account.

Later, things get worse when Roo receives a false review online which harshly slates her ability as a tutor.

Roo angrily accuses Marilyn of sabotaging her business, but Marilyn denies the latest accusations.

Irene Roberts shows support to Marilyn by suggesting that they should report this to the police as a cyber fraud crime.

Marilyn is relieved that somebody finally seems to believe her, but Cash is far from helpful at the station. Convinced that nice guys finish last, Cash is no longer prepared to be kind and patient with the local community.

Marilyn and Irene are both shocked by Cash's callous behaviour as he tries to dismiss the situation. Will Marilyn miss out on receiving the help she needs?
