Home and Away's Bree Cameron surprises Remi with truth about her relationship status

 Bree drops a bombshell on Remi.

Home and Away’s Bree Cameron will surprise Remi about her relationship status in episodes that air next week, beginning on October 24.

Remi has regularly flirted with the doctor since her arrival at Summer Bay, and he will get to spend more time with his crush after he is sent to hospital following a vicious attack.

He greatly enjoys her company, even thinking at one point that he’s gone to heaven, but things quickly go downhill when he suffers a seizure.

Despite their fractious relationship, John turns up at the hospital to wish Remi well, returning his guitar in the process.

It proves to be beneficial for Remi, as he's able to serenade the wards with some music. He even manages to draw a smile from Bree, who is seemingly warming to him after initial hostility.

The pair manage to find some privacy, with Remi enquiring as to why Bree is so blunt with him. He gets an answer, but it’s safe to say he doesn’t like what he hears.

Bree reveals that she is in fact married, previously tying the knot with her high school sweetheart, Jacob.

His absence is explained by his profession as a mechanic, which involves flying back and forth from the mines.

Remi is initially furious with Bree, wondering why it took so long for her to tell him the news – especially after he performed such a grand gesture in the hospital.

After a brief period of awkwardness, the pair agree to remain friends, with Remi saying that Jacob is a “lucky man”.

He doesn’t let his rejection faze him, however, as he quickly woos another nurse. Has he moved on, or is it merely a coping mechanism?
