Home and Away to bring in Cash and Felicity's foster dad Gary

 But will he and Felicity reconcile?

Felicity and Cash get a surprise visitor in upcoming scenes to air on Home and Away – but Gary's visit isn't a welcome one for them.

Cash is thrilled that their foster dad has shown up, but Felicity, who is in the middle of planning for her wedding, doesn't share his enthusiasm.

What's more, Cash's determination to push the pair together in time for the wedding looks like it could end up causing problems for their own relationship in the process.

"They have a rocky history," Jacqui Purvis said when discussing the storyline with TV Week. "She feels ambushed by him and Cash.

"She'd hoped Cash would support her decision to not see him, but instead, he forces her to face him. This drives a wedge between her and Cash."

"Gary came into her life after her dad died, which was confronting for her," Jacqui explained, while elaborating that a lot of Felicity's issues with Gary stem from how she had previously treated him.

"Naturally, she rebelled and treated Gary badly. Now, she's guilt-ridden and doesn't want to see him."

Happily, for them both, Gary is keen to not harbour any ill feelings, and he pulls her in for a hug to let her know that there are no hard feelings on his part.

"Flick realises she'll never be able to move past this pain if she doesn't confront it," Jacqui added.

And while the pair of them seemingly reconciling is a good wedding omen, they get another too when Cash finds his mother's long-lost necklace while he is restoring their dad's old ute at the garage.

“The necklace has been missing for so many years," Nicholas Cartwright, who plays Cash, said of the discovery.

"And right when Cash is trying to make sure a part of their father is at Flick's wedding, a piece of their mum turns up too."
