Home and Away teases mystery tragedy and more 2023 storylines

 Shocks, secrets and surprises.

It's never too early to find out what your favourite soap characters will be up to in the near future.

TV Tonight has shared some of the 2023 storylines of Aussie favourite Home and Away, hinting at a mystery sending shockwaves through Summer Bay.

The beloved beachside community will be shaken to its core by an unspecified "tragedy", which is set to throw the lives of the characters into turmoil.

While we don't have any more information on the nature of this tragic event at this point, it seems that won't be the only jaw-dropping moment in Home and Away next year.

The soap has teased a "high-octane" season, seeing new arrivals as well as surprise faces from the past set to wreak havoc on the bay.

The original article doesn't mention characters leaving the soap, though persistent rumours surround Ethan Browne's possible exit.

Browne, who portrays Tane Parata, has seemingly shut down speculations about him bowing out soon, joking he'll work on Home and Away "forever".

"No, I dunno," he told Yahoo! Lifestyle, adding: "Got a few more years left in me I think."

Was he only trying to throw fans off track? Better keep your eyes peeled for all possible clues.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
