Home and Away spoilers: Cash and Eden get back together after years apart?

 

Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) is slowly returning to his life in the Bay in the aftermath of the shooting, but his new attitude hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Rose (Kirsty Marillier) and Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) have both been concerned about his behaviour, especially because he roughly tackled a criminal during his first arrest back on the job and had the guy complaining that he’d been injured.

Rose and Felicity aren’t the only ones to notice the new Cash, as Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) also gets a taste of her old flame’s new lease on life. When Cash shows up at the hospital to interview Remi (Adam Rowland) about the assault, he makes it pretty clear he’s not there to stick around and chat. Eden decides she’s going to get to the bottom of Cash’s new attitude.

Later, she shows up at the police station with pizza as a peace offering and is determined to get some answers out of her friend. Cash is upfront about everything that’s gone wrong in his life – he got shot, he shot someone, he had his heart broken.

Why should he keep being Mr Nice Guy? Then Cash turns the questioning to Eden – why did they never work out? Eden says that Cash wanted serious, and she doesn’t do serious.

Eden is left wondering how she can help Cash through this rough patch, and her answer comes when Felicity asks her to check on him a few days later as she’s stuck in court over bikie business with Nikau and Tane. Eden heads over to check on a moody Cash, who reluctantly agrees to a night out after Eden’s stubbornness pays off.

The pair enjoy a night of drinks and talking about old memories. When they get home, the moment heats up and their eyes linger as they look at each other.

It becomes clear the old spark is there and it doesn’t take much for them to take their conversation to the bedroom…in the morning, when the pair wake up, will they regret the night before or could this be the start of a new relationship?
