Former Home and Away star Sarah Roberts responds to James Stewart split rumours

 "You can definitely clear it up… we're happy,"

Rumours have been swirling that things are not well between former Home and Away star Sarah Roberts and her husband, and former co-star, James Stewart, but Roberts has spoken up to put the minds of fans at rest.

Speaking to Woman's Day, Roberts said: "You can definitely clear it up… we're happy. He picked me up from the airport last week, when I landed from Tuscany, with a big bouquet of pink tulips.

"I've been sick lately and he's been gorgeous. He's been looking after me with chicken soup and foot rubs."

She also joked: "I can't get rid of Jimmy; he follows me around in real life everywhere." As for what it is like to deal with rumours about her personal life, Roberts tries not to let it bother her too much, saying: “Look, you have to have a thick skin, don't you?”

And while the couple have only been married for a relatively short time, they have had their fair share of things to go through. “So much has happened in our three years of marriage. My brother passed away, and we had COVID, it feels very long, but at the same time it feels like it's gone just like that.”

Sarah also spoke recently about whether she would return to Home and Away should the offer present itself, and she sounds keen.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Roberts said: "I'd love to go back to Home and Away, I loved my time there. I became so close with everyone, and they became like a family.

“Being on that show feels like a holiday too because you just get to hang out with all your favourite people at work every day."

Roberts left the role of Willow Harris last year, having made her first appearance in 2017. Prior to that, she had a guest role in the now-concluded Neighbours as Sienna, an ex of Mark Brennan.
