Emmerdale's Nate Robinson exposes Mackenzie Boyd's big secret
Ryan is shocked.
Emmerdale's Nate Robinson sparks big trouble for Mackenzie Boyd in tonight's episode (October 3).
Nate says too much while enjoying a beer and gaming afternoon with Mackenzie and Ryan Stocks.
With the drinks flowing and everyone in high spirits, Nate makes an ill-timed joke about Mackenzie cheating on Ryan's mum Charity Dingle.
Nate realises straight away that he has messed up, but it may already be too late as Ryan demands an explanation.
Although Nate and Mack both try their best to backtrack, the truth is ultimately revealed as Ryan continues to push for answers.
Mack feels trapped when Ryan orders him to do the right thing by telling Charity everything.
Emmerdale launched this story in August when Mack cheated on Charity after a row over their future.
Mack thought that their relationship had reached the end of the line, but he felt terrible for acting so hastily when Charity later made amends with him.
Since then, Mack's mystery lover has bombarded him with texts and phone calls, which he has tried his best to ignore.
The ITV soap hasn't yet confirmed who this individual is, but all will be revealed on screen this week.
Emma Atkins, who plays Charity, recently discussed whether her character could forgive Mack for sleeping with someone else.
She said: "I think in some ways, Charity is well aware that her own world isn't black and white.
Emmerdale cast 2022 – who plays who?
"In the past, she's done the same to Vanessa with Mackenzie. So, you know, they're both aware of how fallible they are, and how it's in them to have that mischief quality. But with this, it might be more shocking perhaps, because it was all about the fact that they had this happy accident [the pregnancy] and it went wrong.
"It knitted them together in some ways, so I think for Charity to find out would probably be quite shocking, but she's no fool. She's cheated on people in the past before. So it's kind of her territory.
"But this is the double standards part of my character, which I can't defend. When it's happening to her she reacts very differently!"
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV, and streams on the ITV Hub.
