Emmerdale's Charles Anderson left devastated by lies from Nicola King
The vicar's job could be on the line.
Charles Anderson will be left devastated by lies from Nicola King in Emmerdale.
Nicola has been bent on revenge against the Andersons because of Naomi's role in her attack earlier this year — while Naomi didn't actually take part in the beating, she saw it and was too scared to step in.
Ever since Nicola recognised Naomi in a recovered memory, she has vowed she will make Naomi suffer in the same way she has. Naomi has tried to make amends multiple times, only to be rejected by Naomi.

Nicola's next attempt to get even will be to make a false complaint to the church against Naomi's father, Charles Anderson, for abuse of power.
While a distraught Charles suspects Nicola must be behind the complaint, he encourages Naomi not to get involved for her own sake.
Charles tries to settle the issue, but only ends up involved in a heated conversation with Nicola about why she'd complain to the bishop.
Word eventually comes down that the bishop believes Nicola's complaint about Charles abusing his authority as the local vicar, leaving Nicola feeling victorious.
However, Nicola gets a reality check when her mate Laurel Thomas points out that Emmerdale could lose out on a truly good man as vicar because of these complaints.
It's now up to Nicola to decide whether she's gone too far in her quest for revenge. Will she make things right with Charles and Naomi?
