Emmerdale star Dean Andrews reveals Will's true feelings in love triangle
"I do feel he has moved on."
Emmerdale star Dean Andrews has shared his insights into Will Taylor's ongoing love triangle, which takes centre stage in the 50th anniversary episode.
Sunday's (October 16) hour-long special centres around Will's wedding day, as he's preparing to tie the knot with Kim Tate.
In the build-up to the ceremony, Will's ex-partner Harriet Finch has been trying to win him back.
Will drunkenly declared his love for Harriet during his stag celebrations last week, but now that he has sobered up again, his focus is firmly on Kim.
Speaking about the messy situation, Dean explained: "Will still cares about Harriet. They've obviously had a lot of history. He forgave her for her wrongdoings and she forgave him for his.
"They had a special bond, but I do feel he has moved on and really cares about Kim now.
"I think Will feels he has not really said too much out of place with Harriet. Perhaps a little drunken flirtation. He hopes deep down Kim know he loves her. And that Kim understands, although he still has feelings for Harriet, these are different to how he feels for her."
Dean continued: "Kim's not happy about it all obviously. She thinks he's taking her for a ride when in actual fact he does love her. She wants to sort it out, firstly with Harriet and then with Will. I think her reaction is one that you'd expect. But hopefully she will forgive him."
Spoiler pictures show that Kim later makes an elegant arrival on horseback for her wedding ceremony, which seems to suggest that she is prepared to give Will another chance.
Dean added: "The wedding scenes were great fun. Claire [King, who plays Kim] looked amazing on the horse in her outfit. It looked spectacular. The design team had put together a great set and it all looked beautiful.
"Kim's arrival just emphasises how much Will does love her when he sees her. She's a beautiful lady and looks fantastic on the horse. He feels really lucky to have her in his life and to be marrying her.
"I think Kim and Will are a great couple. They're both really similar in some ways but there's a little bit of yin and yang. As posh as Kim is and as common as Will is, they both see life with a similar eye. Opposites attract."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV, and streams on the ITV Hub.
