Emmerdale has revealed Mackenzie Boyd's mystery lover in shocking scenes.

Viewers will know that Mack has been harbouring a secret from Charity, as he had a fling when they were grieving a pregnancy loss earlier in the autumn.

While Charity has recommitted herself to the relationship in recent weeks, Mack has been struggling with the guilt of hiding his infidelity as he's trying to make this new start.

Now, Ryan has also been drafted in to keep Mack's secret, with the situation made all the worse with the person calling Mack to meet up in Wednesday's (October 5) episode.

Mack continued taking steps to keep his indiscretion secret from Charity by arranging a meeting on the edges of the villages, where nobody else would find him.

Eventually, it was revealed that the woman he'd had a one-night stand with was none other than Chloe Harris!

Chloe previously dated Charity's son Noah Dingle until he started stalking her earlier in the year. Chloe eventually pressed charges and had Noah locked up for a three-month sentence.

Mack tried desperately to make this situation with Chloe go away, telling her he was not at all interested in pursuing anything with her ever again.

Chloe was heartbroken to be rejected, and while Kerry later assured her she'd be better off without Mack, there was a much bigger issue brewing.

The episode closed with Chloe staring a positive pregnancy test, wondering how she'd be able to get through this alone. Will Mack find out this jaw-dropping news?
