Coronation Street's Sam Blakeman has secret exposed by Hope
Will Sam back down?
Coronation Street's Sam Blakeman is set to have his big secret exposed by Hope Stape, that he is still in contact with his mother's killer.
In dramatic episodes that air next week, Tyrone Dobbs punches Nick Tilsey in the face when Nick bans his son Sam from spending time with Hope.
Sam had been comforting Hope after a newspaper published an article that detailed her dark family history.
After seeing what went down between Tyrone and Nick, Sam tells Hope about the whole incident when they bump into each other in the school corridor.
Meanwhile, Adam tells Fiz and Tyrone there's a chance they might be able to take out a privacy injunction against the journalist who manipulated Hope into giving information on her late serial killer father, John Stape.
Later on, Hope reveals that she knows all about Tyrone punching Nick, before she turns on Sam and claims that he is not the golden boy he makes out to be.
Fiz breaks the news to Nick that, according to Hope, Sam is still writing letters to Harvey, his mum Natasha's killer.
Fuming that his son had lied to him, Nick has a big row with Sam. Will Sam finally back down over contacting Harvey?
Previously speaking about Nick and Tyrone's big fallout, actor Alan Halsall explained that Tyrone is struggling to express his emotions calmly, as he only knows how to lash out.
Halsall said: "Tyrone isn't a violent man and he mentions this throughout.
"He has been on the wrong end of violence too often throughout his life so it's a real frustration that he is feeling.
"It's the lack of knowing what to do in these situations that makes him lash out and he is frustrated with himself for not knowing the best way to go."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
