Home and Away's Marilyn Chambers admits deceiving Roo Stewart

Marilyn Chambers is in hot water in Home and Away as she gears up to confess to Roo that she deceived her. But, will her good intentions make it easier for Roo to forgive her?

Roo has been looking for some direction in her life and has taken up tutoring again - only it has not been as easy as she hoped to get new business.

She began advertising her services in the Diner and Marilyn decided to help her out by removing some of the tabs with Roo’s contact details, to make it look like people were interested in her services.

However, this soon backfired when Roo's excitement vanished as nobody reached out to her.

Alf caught Marilyn red-handed as she took another tab from the advert and he made it clear that she had to confess to Roo, which Marilyn nervously agreed to do.

Marilyn sets out to tell Roo the truth in scenes that air on Channel 5 next week, but it seems that Roo doesn't take the news well.

Roo is furious at Marilyn for interfering, saying that she feels humiliated and patronized by what she did and that she does not know whether she will be able to forgive her.

Happily for Marilyn, Roo soon calms down, but her confidence has taken a knock and she is left feeling like she should give up on her tutoring dream altogether.

Roo has underestimated Marilyn’s positive attitude though, as she starts reeling off ideas that she thinks will help her get the business up and running.

But given what happened the last time Marilyn got involved, will Roo take her advice on board or will she abandon her plans and start looking for something new?
