Home and Away's Cash Newman struggles with guilt after shooting
Will Cash be able to move on?
Following his dramatic shooting, Cash finally wakes up from his coma in Home and Away but he is met with some grave news.
In scenes that will air in the UK on Channel 5 next week, Cash learns that not only is Jasmine not returning to Summer Bay, but that he tragically killed a man during the devastating events a few weeks ago.
Felicity tells him that he killed a member of the biker gang, Marty, even though she was not keen on burdening Cash with the news given how vulnerable he is. However, Cash forces the truth out of her.

The news leaves Cash reeling, as he has no idea how to process the thought of taking somebody’s life.
Feeling the weight of it all, Cash begins to panic and is desperate to speak to Rose to learn more about what happened. While Felicity is determined to be there for him, she is soon asked to leave by Dr. Cameron.
Felicity realises that Cash does not want her around and she vents her frustrations to Tane. However, it soon becomes clear that she has no choice but to keep her distance until Cash is ready to see her.
As for Rose, she is relieved that Cash is awake, but nervous at the prospect of seeing him and having to explain the terrible event.
When Rose finally does go and see him, it goes even worse than she thought it would when an agitated Cash demands the full story. Cash reacts badly when Rose tells him she doesn’t know anything else that could help him.
Once Rose leaves and Cash calms down, he turns his thoughts to the deceased Marty and whether he had family that he has left behind.
Bree suggests that Cash should consider seeing a therapist, which does not go down well either. It seems that Cash has a long road ahead of him before he can even begin to move past what happened.
Will anybody be able to help him?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
