Home and Away proposal storyline for Tane and Felicity
But can Felicity get past her issues?
Love is in the air in Summer Bay as a surprise proposal is on the way for Tane and Felicity in Home and Away – but things may not end up being smooth sailing for the pair.
Tane goes big with his proposal plan by arranging a date by the lighthouse to pop the question, and he decides to invite many of their nearest and dearest to be there for it.
But while Tane’s intentions are in the right place, he does not consider how much Felicity has been through of late, and whether such a life-changing decision should be made now.
Home and Away cast 2022 – who plays who?
"Flick thinks Tane is just being extra-sweet because things have been super-tough recently with Cash," actress Jacqui Purvis told TV Week. "And because she's been so distracted with it all, she doesn't really think twice about it."
"She doesn't expect it at all," the star added of the moment that Tane proposes. "It's a massive shock."
One of the issues that Tane faces in getting Felicity to be on board with the idea of marriage is that she has long had an issue with the notion of committing to somebody.

"Commitment is one of Flick's biggest fears. She can't stand the thought of losing someone she loves. So, to commit, in Flick's mind, is allowing loss to happen," Purvis explained.
"Can she grow out of this fear and take the risk, and realise that sometimes it's worth it, even if there's a possibility of loss?"
But it seems that Felicity will have to think quickly as Tane really has pulled out all of the stops to make sure the moment s perfect – even recruiting Lyric to play them a song as it happens.
Will Felicity say yes to Tane, and are they destined for a happy married life even if she does?
