Home and Away introduces a new love interest for Nikau Parata

 Tane is concerned over his nephew's decisions.

Home and Away's Nikau Parata starts to move on following his split from Bella Nixon on UK screens next week.

Nikau recently made the difficult decision to end things with Bella, wanting to keep her safe amid the biker gang danger surrounding his family.

In this week's episodes on Channel 5, Nikau briefly considers travelling to the US to reunite with Bella now that the bikies have seemingly been dealt with.

Dean Thompson ultimately talks Nikau out of it, pointing out that Bella is happy in New York and doesn't need any further disruption in her life.

Upcoming UK episodes see new cast member Sofia Nolan introduced as Heather Fraser, who hires Roo Stewart for one-on-one tutoring sessions.

As Heather begins to make herself at home in Summer Bay, she introduces herself to Nikau and asks him to join her at Lyrik's latest gig.

Nikau agrees to come along and quickly strikes up a bond with Heather, enjoying her direct approach.

The pair end up heading back to Nikau's place to spend the night together, much to the surprise of Nikau's uncle Tane the next morning.

Tane points out that it's unlike Nikau to bring strangers home and he also expresses concern that his nephew could be moving on from Bella too quickly.

Nikau is dismissive and warns Tane to stay out of it.

Later, Heather becomes aware that Nikau has his ex-girlfriend on his mind as he suddenly becomes hesitant around her.

Heather sets the record straight by explaining that she's not looking for anything serious and she's happy to enjoy a no-strings relationship. Will this work for Nikau?
