Former Neighbours star Scott McGregor shows off hair transformation

 "Who dis?"

Neighbours' Scott McGregor looks a new man after transforming his hair.

Known for playing Detective Mark Brennan, the actor uploaded a selfie onto Instagram to show off his new shaven look, captioning the post: "New hairdo... who dis?" next to a granddad emoji.

His expression suggests he's still getting used to it!

However, McGregor's followers seem all for it, with some of the comments including: "The big reveal… [applause emoji] looks good Scotty", "Suits ya!! I like it" and "Didn't think it would look good but it does!"

Karl Kennedy star Alan Fletcher was also on hand to share a thumbs-up, writing: "Love it!!!"

Leaving the soap full-time almost three years ago, McGregor once admitted that he wasn't a fan of his character's exit storyline, which saw the detective relocating to Adelaide to support his mum Fay.

Why was Neighbours cancelled and will it ever return?

However, the star also revealed at the time that he had "so much love" for Neighbours, adding: "I feel extremely fortunate and very honoured to have worked with not only the amazing actors I can now call lifelong friends, but all the incredibly talented departments that make this place what it is.

"Without them, this show just wouldn't exist."

The Ramsay Street soap will embark on a farewell tour, with stars including Alan Fletcher, Jackie Woodburne, and April Rose Pengilly making the trip to the UK early next year.

The final ever episode drew an audience of over 4 million on Channel 5 in the UK.

Neighbours has now come to an end, but catch-up episodes are available via My 5 (UK) and 10 Play (Australia).
