Emmerdale's Naomi makes crucial decision over Nicola case
Nate helps Naomi make her mind up.
Naomi Walters has decided not to do a runner in Emmerdale.
The newcomer had been weighing up secretly leaving the village so she wouldn't have to face grievous bodily harm charges for alleged involvement in Nicola King's attack.
In Tuesday's episode (September 13), Nate was less than empathetic when Naomi shared that she'd been charged with GBH over the attack.
"Now, everyone's treating me like a pariah," Naomi said.

When Naomi admitted she had a mate in Dubrovnik she could run to, Nate encouraged her not to "do a runner" to escape responsibility.
"Disappear and the police will come after you," Nate pointed out. "Why spend the next few years looking over your shoulder when there's people here who care about you?"
Naomi confided in Nate that she was scared of going to prison and just as afraid of what Saskia and her mates would do if she told the court "what really happened" to Nicola.
"I can't see a way out," she acknowledged.
Nate assured Naomi she'll be able to sort everything out because she's "strong and gutsy", adding: "That's what I like about you!"
Emmerdale's Dan Spencer caught out again over Amelia and Noah sabotage
Naomi said that if Nate's assessment of her was true, she'd have stopped Saskia and her mates attacking Nicola instead of standing by.
"Now's your chance to put that right," Nate told her.
Nate encouraged Naomi to stick it out because of the joy she'd brought to both Ethan and Charles since arriving in the village. He also promised that leaning on family can help her feel "a sense of belonging".
Naomi agreed with Nate, so she joined him in meeting Charles and Ethan at the pub. As she apologised for letting her family down, Ethan pointed out she hadn't because she was "owning up to what happened".
"We're both proud of you for that," Charles told her.
Charles vowed to be "strong enough" to support Naomi through the uncertainty that would follow. Naomi seemed genuinely touched by her family's support — and she'll need it as the police investigation continues.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
