 Emmerdale's Liam Cavanagh betrays his wife Leyla next week as their marriage crisis continues.

Upcoming episodes will see Liam struggle with how best to support Leyla when she returns from her stint in rehab.

Liam then kisses Bernice, who's shocked and has no interest in rekindling their old flame.

Bernice warns Liam to do the right thing by telling Leyla the truth about his mistake.

Later, Liam speaks to Leyla and is pleased to discover that she wants to get their marriage back on track.

Wary of ruining this, Liam opts not to tell her anything about the kiss with Bernice.

Bernice watches the couple's conversation from afar and gets the wrong idea when she sees an emotional Leyla crying.
