Emmerdale setback for Kim Tate as Millie plot continues

It's time to say goodbye to her granddaughter.

Emmerdale's Kim Tate feels isolated tonight (September 26) as she continues to face the consequences of the recent Millie drama.

Kim rushed in to support her granddaughter last week after Millie claimed to have been bitten by Clemmie Reed, the young girl currently being looked after by Dawn and Billy Fletcher.

Dawn was forced to leave Home Farm after backing Clemmie over Millie. However, Millie later came clean with Kim over how she'd lied to get Clemmie in trouble.

In Monday's episode, Dawn continues to stay with Harriet Finch and vents to her about the unfortunate situation.

Dawn feels particularly betrayed that her father Will failed to support her when his fiancée Kim was backing Millie.

Dawn declares that she no longer plans to attend Will's upcoming wedding to Kim – a decision that's sure to leave him devastated.

Over at Home Farm, Will is also simmering with resentment over Kim's decision to throw Dawn out.

With everyone now aware that Clemmie did nothing wrong, it's clear that a stubborn Kim will have to take steps to make amends sooner or later.

Things only get worse for Kim when Millie's other grandmother Hazel arrives to collect her.

Hazel is recovering well after recently being pushed down the stairs by Kim's son Jamie, so she now feels ready to take care of Millie again.

Once Millie has gone, an upset Kim realises how alone she is. Is it time to start making apologies to Dawn and Will?

Emmerdale begins Faith Dingle's final storyline with poignant scenes

Emmerdale bosses recently named Kim and Will's wedding as one storyline which will be taking centre stage in the ITV soap's 50th anniversary episodes this October, which include a deadly storm disaster.

Show producer Jane Hudson explained: "Everyone's involved. It would be easier to say who is not involved. There is Will's wedding, so anyone connected to Kim and Will has a major part to play."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
