Emmerdale confirms more schedule changes for new episodes
Here's when the soap will air on Tuesday…
ITV has confirmed more schedule changes for Emmerdale.
The soap has had an irregular transmission schedule since the sad news of The Queen's passing was announced last week, with the most recent episode airing on Sunday in an atypical slot for the soap.
Emmerdale was subsequently pulled from Monday's lineup in favour of more news coverage, and will now air a double bill on Tuesday.
ITV has announced that the Emmerdale episode originally produced to air on Monday will now air in a block with Tuesday's episode (September 13) at 8.05pm to get the show back on track.
In the back-to-back episodes, Kim Tate will finally discover the truth that her son Jamie Tate is alive after she's paid a visit by Millie's nan Hazel. Kim has to make a hard decision when Hazel reveals Jamie was physically violent toward her.
Elsewhere, Naomi Walters worries whether she'll be jailed over her involvement in Nicola King's gang attack while Mackenzie Boyd struggles over whether to tell Charity about his one-night-stand.
These two episodes will be preceded by nearly two hours of local and national news from 6.10pm on ITV, and then followed at 9.05pm by a re-airing of the 2015 documentary Charles, The Monarch and the Man.
The daytime schedule for ITV will feature Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning all back in the schedules from 6am, but Loose Women is still on pause for news coverage.
Soap fans should expect other potential transmission delays or time-shifting for upcoming Emmerdale episodes through next week, when the Queen will be laid to rest in a state funeral on Monday (September 19).
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
