Home and Away's Cash confirms Jasmine's future in emotional scenes

News arrives from the Shaw family farm.

Home and Away's UK fans will get closure on Jasmine Delaney's departure next week.

Jasmine recently made an abrupt exit from Summer Bay to support the family of her late husband Robbo, but she promised that she'd be back.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Jasmine's new partner Cash Newman discovers that she has since changed her mind about returning.

When Cash asks Jasmine to head home to the Bay, he plans to surprise her with a romantic proposal.

Cash puts everything in place and excitedly awaits Jasmine's return, but she fails to show up as planned. Adding to the confusion, Jasmine ignores all phone contact from Cash.

Cash's first thought is that somebody could have told Jasmine about the secret night he spent in a car with her sister Rose.

However, as more time goes on, Cash starts to think that something terrible could have happened to Jasmine and the Shaws, who still won't respond to his calls.

Cash confides in his old friend Eden Fowler about how he plans to report Jasmine to the police as a missing person. A local force near the Shaw family farm agrees to carry out a welfare check.

Much to Cash's shock, the police later report back that Jasmine and the Shaws are all fine.

Jasmine has decided to live with the Shaws permanently, but doesn't want to talk to Cash directly about this.

Cash is baffled to hear that Jasmine passed on her best wishes, but isn't prepared to engage further.

As Cash and Irene Roberts discuss the surprising situation, it becomes clear that Jasmine may still be clinging to memories of Robbo.

Although Cash is heartbroken for himself, he also wonders how Jasmine's siblings Xander and Rose will feel when they realise that they moved to the Bay for nothing.

Sam Frost decided to leave Home and Away in late 2021 after four years with the show.

Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, September 5 and Tuesday, September 6 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
