Hollyoaks' Joseph Holmes to be caught out after new death discovery

His involvement in Saul's murder is finally uncovered.

Joseph Holmes will be caught out after a new death discovery in Hollyoaks.

The teen has gotten away with killing DS Saul Reeves for weeks now, after he was successfully able to pin the crime on love rival DeMarcus Westwood.

Upcoming scenes for Joseph will intersect with a single-strand episode for DeMarcus and dad Felix where they receive some shocking news about the case.

Back in the village, Scott Drinkwell is alarmed to discover that his foster daughter Vicky may have gotten engaged to Joseph.

With Maxine joining the cause to split up the couple for good, there is a dark moment where Zoe Anderson recognises the 'engagement ring' as one Saul was planning to use to propose to Grace.

Felix and Scott decide to break into the Holmes' house to search for clues. In a case of mistaken identity, Joseph's mum assumes they are a couple visiting for an open house on the same day.

It's tense as the duo try not to get caught, but eventually, Felix is able to snatch the secret phone Joseph has been keeping..

As their search continues, Maxine is able to sort out with Vicky that she's definitely not engaged to Joseph. This comes as a relief to Max after she discovers Joseph slept with Serena!

The adults are surprised to hear Vicky knows all about Joseph's infidelity. After the adults share their theories about Saul's death, Vicky gives them the code to get into Joseph's phone.

Zoe enlists fellow detective Sam Chen-Williams to help the investigation when it hits a dead end, giving them all fresh hope for finding key evidence.

At the young offender's home, DeMarcus receives a much-needed surprise as his friends Ella, Charlie and Vicky turn up for a visit.

Viewers will find out that Vicky is keeping a secret that impacts DeMarcus, yet she struggles to tell him the truth during their visit.

This week full of investigating finally lands Joseph in trouble, yet he keeps a cool head as he faces accusations that could change his life forever.

Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
