Emmerdale's Chas Dingle receives subtle warning over Al Chapman affair

 Someone else knows…

Chas Dingle has received a subtle warning over her affair with Al Chapman in Emmerdale.

The pair have already been caught out once by Belle Dingle, after she caught them kissing at a hotel during one of their secret meetings.

While Belle agreed to keep the affair as a secret for Faith Dingle's sake for the time being, she demanded Chas end things with Al once and for all.

In Wednesday's (August 24) episode, Chas reluctantly went on a ramble through the countryside with Faith so they could have some "quality time".

Faith twigged straight away that someone was keen to get hold of Chas because of frequent calls, especially after her daughter dismissed the caller as "no-one important".

Belle warned Al in the village to keep his distance from Chas because she'd chosen to stay with Paddy over pursuing anything further with him.

"Accept it," Belle demanded. "Don't go anywhere near her. Don't even go in the pub… I mean it, Al. You stay away from Chas."

On their ramble, Faith hinted she knew something was going on with Al after he'd made up a ruse about returning her bank card earlier in the week.

"It was very odd, you know, the way he was acting," Faith told her daughter. "I'm not sure he came in about your bank card at all. I think he wanted to see you, I think he's holding a torch for you."

Later, Faith turned serious as she asked her daughter to promise not to make "the same mistake" she'd made in alienating her family.

"Don't do something you'll regret," Faith begged.

Chas met up with Al once again in secret. Although they shared another kiss, a tormented Chas urged Al to stay away from her, for both of their sakes
