Emmerdale confirms love interest for newcomer Naomi Walters

Emmerdale has confirmed that the village's newest resident, Naomi Walters, will have a love interest in Nate Robinson.

In upcoming scenes, Naomi continues to settle into the village following her recent arrival as Charles Anderson's long-lost daughter.

Nate helps her feel welcome as the two enjoy each other's company and notice a romantic chemistry between them.

When Ethan and Marcus invite them to a barbecue that night, they agree to tag along.

Manpreet is secretly filled with dread when Charles persuades her to attend the barbeque Naomi will be at.

At the barbeque, Naomi becomes annoyed when Charles tries to meddle in her relationship with Nate and she tells him that it's too late for fatherly advice.

Charles is left feeling hurt and, annoyed by this, Manpreet puts her foot down with Naomi. How will Naomi react?

Opening up about the prospective romance, Naomi actress Karene Peter revealed that Nate is quick to fall for Naomi's charms.

"Naomi is super confident and super flirty when it comes to Nate and she hasn't wasted any time with him whatsoever," she said.

"I think it's more of a question of whether Nate is falling for Naomi's charms and I think maybe the answer is yes. They definitely get along and hit it off very quickly."

She continued: "I think Nate really enjoys Naomi's confidence and as they get to know each other, it transpires that they have similarities with their displacement in their families. They have a common ground that they can build from. They get along on a friendly level as well, which is great."

Karene continued by bringing up Charles' meddling in Naomi and Nate's relationship and how Naomi thinks her father is going too far.

"That's her business and Naomi feels that Charles is overstepping," she explained. "Naomi definitely knows what she wants and her dad isn't going to have any say in stopping her at all!"
