Neighbours to air Joe Mangel return scenes after Melanie's engagement
Harold has made a bit of an error...
Neighbours is about to air the return of Joe Mangel in a video call with Harold, but this call only makes Harold realise that he has made a massive mistake with Melanie and Toadie.
It has been clear since he returned that Harold has not been a fan of the idea that Melanie and Toadie are getting married, and it does not take long for Melanie to realise that he is not supportive of them.
When Melanie confronts him, Harold explains that he is worried that she will hurt Nell and Hugo the same way that she hurt Toby and Sky when she left Joe.

Melanie is hurt that Harold could think she would do that and tells Toadie that Harold's version of events does not match with what actually happened between her and Joe.
After Toadie asks Harold to leave the engagement party, Harold decides that he should check with Joe that he has his facts straight – and he soon realises that he has got things completely wrong.
Joe admits to Harold that he played with the truth when they spoke about it, and he instead sings Melanie's praises and admits that he and the kids were lucky to have her.
Harold is now forced to eat humble pie and apologise, but will Melanie and Toadie forgive him?

Mark Little was last seen playing Joe Mangel when he made an extended return to Ramsay Street in 2005 to help celebrate the show's 20th anniversary.
It was then that his separation from Melanie was revealed, but Joe found new, albeit temporary, love with Lyn Scully.
His original stint was from 1988 to 1991 and he was front and centre for some massive storylines including the death of his wife, Kerry, and a custody battle for her daughter, Sky.
Lucinda Cowden herself also made a brief appearance from London as Melanie for that same 20th birthday celebration. She returned to the show full-time in 2021.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5. In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach and streams on 10 Play.
