Neighbours teases show finale in emotional new trailer

Neighbours has teased an emotional finale in a brand new trailer for the last ever episode of the long running soap, due to air next week (Friday, July 29) in the UK.

In the 40 second clip we are given a glimpse of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan who are set to return as Charlene and Scott, amongst a host of other familiar faces from across the 37 years the soap has been on air.

The pair seemingly arrive on Ramsay Street and Scott wraps his arm around a smiling Charlene as they lean on the bonnet of their car.

Recently Kylie shared her reaction to being back on set saying: "Firstly, where's all that time gone? Secondly, everything looks exactly the same. Thirdly, Scott, Charlene, Jane, Harold – it all just came flooding back."

Also making a brief appearance in the clip is actor Guy Pearce who is reprising the role of Mike Young after over 30 years away from the soap.

Izzy Hoyland's dramatic story with Susan Kennedy is set to conclude after Izzy recently returning to Erinsborough too and dropping the bombshell that she's now in a relationship with Malcolm Kennedy.

Susan and Karl Kennedy have struggled to accept the news that their son is now settling down with the woman who once caused so many problems for them.

In the new trailer it's clear Susan plans to get rid of Izzy once and for all can be heard saying: "I am not going to do this again, I want Isabelle out of our life."

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5. The series finale will air in the UK on July 29 at 9pm on Channel 5. In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach and streams on 10 Play. The series finale will air in Australia on July 28 at 7.30pm, simulcast on 10 and 10 Peach.
