Neighbours final week: 7 huge spoilers as the show ends forever

 It’s that time for the very final Neighbours weekly spoilers round up to grace your screen, and as the show bows out, it’s doing it in style.

The week is full of highly anticipated returns with faces from eons ago making their way back to Erinsborough; there’ll be heartbreak, infidelity, reunions, and a wedding. Ready to start saying your goodbyes? Let’s go…

First off, there will be a family on the brink of destruction as the show draws to a close. Izzy (Natalie Basingthwaite) is doing her very best to damage the Kennedy family, and when Susan (Jackie Woodburne) hands Mal (Benjamin McNair) a disastrous ultimatum, it looks like she’s succeeded. But when Izzy crosses the line with Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien), Susan might once again have the upper hand.

There are many hotly anticipated returns this week, one being Joel (Daniel McPherson) who is back for old pal Toadie’s (Ryan Moloney) wedding, but will it go ahead with all of the Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) drama swirling?

Mike Young (Guy Pierce) is also back and ruffling feathers as he has his sights back on Jane (Annie Jones).

There’s another ending on the cards for Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) when Glen (Richard Huggett) comes to a painful realisation about their future, but could there be a new beginning for her and Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis)?

Speaking of Paul, he’s one of many making a mass exodus from Ramsay Street ready for a new life abroad. Susan is left feeling melancholic about what she’s set to lose. How will she cope?

Kennedys destroyed as Susan gives Mal ultimatum?

Susan is not about to take any rubbish from Izzy, so she concocts a clever plan to keep her in her box. Izzy finds out what she’s been plotting and is more than a little bit smug when she reveals to Susan that she has lost yet another round against her. Pushed to her limit, Susan does the only thing she can think of – gives Mal an ultimatum of choosing between his family and Izzy. But will it go how she hopes?

Izzy cheats on Mal

Sadly, it backfires on Susan as he firmly picks the latter. But a saving grace may come for Susan in the fact that Izzy’s never been the faithful type. Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien) comes to town and turns her head by flashing his cash. Izzy is only too ready to cross the line, which Karl and Susan get wind of. They brace themselves for Mal discovering the truth, but just when they think they know Izzy’s next move, she surprises them. What will this mean for the Kennedys?

Glen steps aside for Paul

Poor old Glen has been through the ringer with Terese, but their story is about to come to an end when he realises he can’t win against his brother. Terese and Paul are both packing up ready to leave Ramsay Street when their paths end up crossing again. The universe is clearly trying to tell them something. Their encounter does a number on Terese, who is left emotional, and she takes her feelings out on Glen. He’s frustrated as she clearly can’t let go of her past and won’t cut her ex from her life. With this realisation Glen makes a painful decision. It would appear to be the right one as at Toadie’s wedding, with all of the romance flying around, Terese and Paul realise they need to confront their unresolved feelings, which leads to even more revelations. Could they decide to get back together?

Robinsons quit Ramsay Street

If Paul and Terese do decide to give things a go, they’ll have to decide sharpish. Paul is preparing to up sticks for New York. David decides to go with him, and Nicolette isn’t far behind in deciding to follow suit. Lucy is thrilled when Chris and Annie show up and there is a beautiful family reunion, which then prompts Leo to make the decision to go too. With the Robinsons having been one of the original families in Ramsay Street, their decision to leave marks the end of a huge era.

Surprise arrival for Toadie’s wedding – but will it go ahead?

The wedding is just around the corner and Toadie and Mel are starting to feel like things are getting real. As the day looms, they start to realise their struggles from the past haven’t been totally resolved, so Toadie decides to make a huge gesture to show his commitment to Mel. But old pal Joel arrives back in town and learns of his falling out with Amy and resolves to get it sorted. On the day of the wedding another familiar face shows up – it’s Callum. Toadie is thrilled to have his eldest there to watch him get married. But he has a pang of regret that Amy isn’t there too. As the ceremony gets underway, Amy suddenly shows up – is she there to ruin his happy ever after?

Jane discovers Byron handing back the watch Clive left at Danielle’s house and is furious. Byron tries to explain and urges her to sort things out with Clive, but not before dropping another revelation on her. Jane is not impressed, and her reaction prompts old feelings of resentment to rise in Nicolette. Things get frosty between them, and Nicolette makes a big decision – she’s moving to New York. Clive, meanwhile, decides he needs to throw everything at trying to win Jane back. But a spanner is thrown in the works when a familiar face rocks up in town – Mike Young.

Susan gutted as life as she knows it comes to an end

As things draw to a close in Ramsay Street, Susan becomes reflective over her time on the street. She and Karl will be finding their new normal as many of their closest friends fly the coop for the fresh start they’re all after. Chloe is selling no.24 and comes to a huge life decision when she receives a surprise visitor. Paul, David and Leo all decide that their new chapter is going to begin in New York, with Nicolette opting to follow suit. Terese is another one packing up ready to leave, but a twist in her tale with Paul could influence where she goes next. The houses are on the market, the wheels are in motion for the huge changes to take effect, and Susan is not ok with this. Harold asks Karl and Susan to be custodians of the history book, but Susan struggles with the idea of losing life as she knows it. How will she cope?
