Kylie Minogue shares on-set pictures with Jason Donovan as they reunite for Neighbours finale
They're home.
Neighbours' final ever episode is fast approaching, and while that's incredibly sad news for fans of the soap, it does mean that the legendary Kylie Minogue is finally going to return to the show that made her famous, and with Jason Donovan in tow!
The pair filmed the return of Charlene and Scott a while back, with plenty of speculation and rumours about what their scenes will entail.
Now the pair aren't going to give that away, but they have shared some on-set photos of what they look like. Sadly, Jason's Scott hasn't got a mullet anymore, even though they're back in fashion – but Kylie's Charlene is wearing a denim jumpsuit, which seems like a natural evolution from her character's mechanic's overalls.

"So good to be back with this absolute legend @kylieminogue, Scott and Charlene final scenes, @neighbours 2022," Jason wrote, while Kylie referenced their duet 'Especially for You' by tweeting: "Now we're back together."
Channel 5 has also released some images of the duo on Ramsay Street, while confirming that the double-bill finale on July 29 at 9pm will be followed by two specials.
Airing at 10.05pm, Neighbours: What Happened Next? will look at what the show's biggest stars got up to after they left, while Neighbours: The Stars' Greatest Hits will air at 11.30pm and delve into the musical careers of the soap's alumni through their music videos.
Recently, Kylie talked about how her original stint in the show is still something people bring up to her, stating: "It's just thank [you] to the loyal fans who still remember those first few years of the show.
"I've worked with people, you know, super cool mega stars, really famous people. And then eventually they'll let it slip that they used to watch Neighbours back in the day and would skive off school to catch the lunchtime episode. They'll drop a little Neighbours story and it's just it's very touching because they are times that we can't touch – completely different times."
Executive producer Jason Herbison stated that it didn't take much convincing to get the duo on board, although their busy schedules meant that they didn't get to film with the entire cast.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5. In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach and streams on 10 Play.
