Home and Away confirms new love interest for Rose Delaney

 She goes on a date with a Summer Bay newcomer.

Home and Away's Rose Delaney tries to move on from her feelings for Cash Newman on UK screens next week.

Rose has had feelings for Cash ever since they met a few weeks ago, but has been unable to act on them as he's in a relationship with her sister Jasmine.

In upcoming episodes on Channel 5, Rose catches the eye of Summer Bay newcomer Tex, who has just been hired by Marilyn Chambers as a handyman.

Rose initially ignores Tex, as she's still wrestling with her feelings for Cash and is questioning her future in the Bay.

Home and Away's Justin devastates Theo with a big mistake

Rose is at a crossroads when her brother Xander wants to move into the pier apartment, which has recently been vacated by Mackenzie Booth.

Although the apartment looks good, Rose delivers the bad news to Xander that she'd prefer to leave Summer Bay.

Xander urges Rose to reconsider, pointing out that Jasmine's abandonment issues could flare up again if she leaves so soon.

Xander also confronts Cash about Rose's plans to go, believing that the policeman has played a part in her decision by treating her harshly.

When Cash intervenes by begging Rose to stay, she decides to stick around and see if she can move past the recent complicated situation.

Later, after setting up the new apartment with Xander, Rose decides to take up Tex on his offer of a drink.

Rose and Tex get along well, but they're soon interrupted by Xander.

Home and Away gets new Channel 5 timeslot after Neighbours axe

Xander is confused over why Rose is suddenly dating Tex when she was still hung up on Cash so recently.

Rose explains that it's time to turn a new page and Tex is like a breath of fresh air in her life.
