11 huge Neighbours spoilers for next week
What's next on Ramsay Street?
The end of Neighbours is right around the corner and the returnees come thick and fast next week but first, there is a lot of drama with David to deal with.
Here are 11 Neighbours spoilers to look forward to next week.
1. David is in more danger than ever
The walls are closing in on David Tanaka, and it seems like he is about to run out of time. David becomes aware that there is a prison guard that is working alongside the people inside that are set on causing him more harm.
Panicked, Aaron tries to help, and Andrew decides that the only way he has a chance of getting out is if David agrees to wear a wire to catch the guard out. But with the risk to David's life already high, everyone knows that there is a good chance this sting could go wrong.
2. Clive has some explaining to do
Byron decides to do some snooping while at his client's house to see if he can learn anything about her involvement with Clive. But when he is caught in the act, Clive gets wind of someone looking into him and the truth about Byron's side gig comes out at number 32, much to the horror of Jane – and Mrs Mangel! (Or her portrait, at least.)
But this also exposes Clive and while he is adamant that he has not had an affair, Jane is about to learn something about her boyfriend that he wishes he could have kept to himself. Is this the end of Jane and Clive?
3. Emma causes chaos at Number 24
With David facing a brutal death, Freya and Kiri soon realise that his fate lies in their hands when Emma turns up unexpectedly at number 24. But Emma is not alone, and she has another request for Freya if she wants to help keep David safe.
With the girls held at gunpoint and faced with a task that they know they are unable to complete, will they find a way to save themselves from Emma – and save David's life in the process?
4. Will David be saved?
David finds himself in the prison courtyard at the mercy of a shiv-wielding thug, and his only hope seems to be with Freya back on Ramsay Street. But with the situation growing even more complex there, things are not looking good for him.
To David's horror, a message soon comes through to the thug to kill him, and David has nowhere to run. Are we about to see one more tragic death in Erinsborough before Neighbours comes to a close?
5. Paul bumps into an old friend
Despite already having an eventful week thanks to everything going on with David, Paul gets a blast from the long past when he runs into a very lively Shane Ramsay at Lassiters.
As the two catch up, it turns out that Shane has done very well for himself in the decades since he was last in Erinsborough and, looking to have a foot in the area again, he proposes that he become an equal partner with Paul at the hotel.
Paul is thrilled, but Shane is about to learn that Paul has changed a lot over the years.
6. Harold voices his concerns about Toadie and Melanie
While Zara is not happy about Toadie and Melanie getting engaged, Harold seems to have his own doubts too. When he tries to avoid going to the engagement party, Melanie confronts him.
Harold admits that he doesn't want her to marry Toadie for the sake of his children – he doesn't want them getting hurt the same way as Toby and Sky were when she left them. But when Toadie hears what Harold has said, he makes it clear that his views are not welcome…
7. Shane looks into Paul's history
Shane is feeling good about his offer to buy into Lassiters, and Paul is thrilled by the idea of a Ramsay-Robinson team-up. Unfortunately, it does not take long for Shane to find out the kind of person Paul is now.
First, he gets the rundown from Leo, before Jane only adds further doubts to his mind. A conversation with Terese helps slightly, but Shane still thinks he needs to know more about Paul, and he knows just who to ask…
8. Melanie has to face Angie Rebecchi
As if Harold's disapproval was not a tough enough pill for Melanie to swallow, she soon comes face to face with the formidable Angie Rebecchi. Angie is back in town for the engagement party, and she makes it clear that she is not going to be easily won over by Melanie.
The jabs come thick and fast, and Melanie soon finds herself unable to hold her tongue any longer. Is Toadie about to be caught in the middle of a huge row between the pair?
9. Karl and Susan welcome back Malcolm
Karl and Susan are delighted when their son, Malcolm, makes a surprise arrival on their doorstep – but he seems very evasive whenever the subject of Catherine comes up.
Mal's parents notice and quiz him on why he is acting strangely, and he admits the truth that they have separated. Karl and Susan hope that they can work things out, but Mal insists that it is over and that they have both made peace with it. But Susan and Karl have no idea that the shocks have only just begun.
10. Harold realises his mistake
Harold is on the outs with Toadie and Melanie, so he decides to do some checking to make sure that he is right in what he said. But when he gets on a call with Joe Mangel, he soon realises that the version of events that Joe told him does not match with what actually happened.
With Joe defending Melanie and admitting he painted her in a bad light, Harold is forced to make a grovelling apology. But will Toadie and Melanie accept it?
11. Izzy gives Karl and Susan the shock of their lives
Back at his hotel room, Mal assures Izzy that he will tell Karl and Susan about them, but that it wasn't the right time given that they were at the party. Izzy agrees to keep laying low, while he heads back to Ramsay Street to break the news.
Izzy is never one to wait though and she makes a surprise entrance early, revealing the shocking details of her and Mal's newfound love in the process. And if Izzy thinks Susan will accept her as part of the family, she has another thing coming…
