Home and Away's Tane Parata is stabbed in PK storyline

 There's high drama at Salt.

Home and Away's Tane Parata is stabbed at Salt on UK screens next week, as thugs working for PK cause carnage at the restaurant.

Newcomer PK sends heavies to take revenge against Mackenzie Booth after she refuses to give into his demands over more poker nights.

Upcoming scenes see Mac plan to get even with PK, after he tricked her into believing that she owed him $100,000.

During an earlier poker night at Salt, PK told Mac that the House lost and she owed the players. He claimed to have stepped in to settle the debt for her, but demanded that she sleep with him as a "repayment".

Mac considered agreeing to the sickening demand and visited PK in his hotel room, but soon walked away. It was only later that Mac's brother Dean Thompson told her that the House can't lose in poker and PK had tricked her.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Mac decides to let PK believe that she still thinks she owes him money.

Mac makes a pitch to PK, suggesting another VIP poker night and she'll give him the buy-in takings. In reality, she plans to make a profit herself.

PK insists on a deal that would be much more lucrative for him – he'll host the poker night himself and take every cent made. Mac refuses to go along with this and tells PK to get out of her restaurant.

Later, PK's associate Nathan returns to Salt and encourages Mac to do whatever PK wants.

Nathan advises that it's best not to cross PK, who's very dangerous. Mac still won't be bullied and tells Nathan to leave.

That evening, two thugs arrive at Salt when Mac is closing up with Dean. With the intruders brandishing a knife, they order Mac to empty the till and Dean urges her to do everything they say.

Mac and Dean kneel on the ground as instructed and watch on helplessly as the thugs steal money and trash the restaurant, smashing bottles of expensive alcohol.

Tane and Felicity Newman walk in on the violence, unwittingly creating a brief distraction. This gives Dean an opportunity to tackle one of the thugs while Tane attacks the other.

Tane is stabbed in the altercation that follows, just before the intruders flee. Felicity watches on in horror to see blood all over Tane's hands and stomach – will he be okay?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Friday, June 24 at 1.15pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
