Coronation Street confirms Nicky Wheatley's return story
Kimberly Hart-Simpson's character is back on the cobbles.
If you thought that you'd seen the last of Nicky Wheatley on Coronation Street then think again, because she will be back on our screens very soon.
When we last saw Nicky, she had made a hasty exit after moving out of Daniel's flat following his less than enthusiastic response to her telling him how she felt about him.
Many were worried that it was the end of Kimberly Hart-Simpson's second stint on the ITV soap, but it would appear that the writers still have plenty of plans for the popular character.

Scenes set to air next week will show Nicky make her return to Weatherfield, where Peter discovers her in an unexpected place.
Peter, who has been dealing with all the drama surrounding dodgy surgeon Mr Thorne, has a run-in with Carla and then heads to the police station with his cab to pick up a fare.
But when he gets there, the person he's collecting is Nicky, who tells Peter she was there after being arrested for no reason.
But they are the perfect pair to chat at that moment, as they each have their own story to tell about some of the injustices they have faced – and how they are sick of being trampled on by society.

Kimberly recently spoke about her love for Coronation Street and what it was like to join the show during the global pandemic.
"I got through it, we all did, you know. And I was so fortunate that they continued that storyline, how lucky I was," she said.
"You think that 'last in first out' vibes. But no, they had my back, and I am forever grateful to the show for that."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
