The poker nights come back to haunt her.

Home and Away's Mackenzie Booth faces some unsettling consequences of her illegal poker nights on UK screens next week.

Mac has recently hosted unauthorised gambling events at Salt in a desperate bid to solve the restaurant's ongoing financial issues.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Mac is surprised to receive a visit from Nathan, one of the poker players.

Nathan puts pressure on Mac to host another event, but she insists that she has no plans for the foreseeable future.

Nathan then comes clean with Mac, explaining that he lost a lot of money at the last poker night and needs a chance to win it back.

Mac's brother Dean Thompson steps in to get rid of Nathan, fearing that it's a worrying sign if men from the poker nights are now lurking around the restaurant.

Later, while Mac is closing up for the night, Nathan returns with his head bleeding.

Nathan admits that he gambled away someone else's cash, so the person he owes money to has attacked him as a warning.

As Nathan protests that Mac is the only person who can help him, she gives him money that she had set aside for Salt's next rent payment.

Dean, Felicity Newman and Ryder Jackson are all horrified when they later learn that Mac has paid off Nathan using her own money.

All three are worried that Mac has been scammed, but she brushes off their concern and becomes determined to do things her own way.

Will things only get worse for Mac?
