Hollyoaks star Garcia Brown reveals aftermath of shock body discovery
"There's a lot at stake for Zoe."
Hollyoaks is throwing a big wrench into the mix next week, as Maya Harkwell's body is discovered, and Ethan Williams gets called in for questioning by the police.
Village newcomer Zoe Anderson is investigating the case, as part of her mission to clean up the streets and take down Norma Crow's criminal network, but things will be complicated due to her fling with Ethan's nephew, Sam Chen-Williams.
"Ethan is Sam's uncle, so it makes things awkward," actress Garcia Brown told Inside Soap magazine.

"Zoe thinks she should get on with her career and call it a day with Sam – though her gran, Pearl, convinces her to carry on the fling. They decide to keep it going, but keep it on the hush."
Of course, Ethan wasn't the only one involved in Maya's death and burial, and one of those people really doesn't want Zoe finding out the truth.
"She finds an urn outside the front door with her name on it, warning her that if she carries on trying to find out what happened to Maya, she'll be the one who ends up dead!" Garcia added. "It really shakes Zoe up.
"You're meant to think it's the Undertaker, the big crime boss. But it's Sienna who's behind it, to put Zoe off the scent. She's involved too, as Ethan made her and Ste bury Maya's body!"

Zoe pretends she's not bothered, but admits to Sam in private that she actually is scared, and they share a kiss – only to be seen by Saul Reeves.
She also pretends to Saul that her fling with Sam is just an excuse to spy on Ethan and get information about the Maya case, although the actress did say she would put her career first if forced to choose.
"There's a lot at stake for Zoe, professionally speaking," Garcia continued. "If too many people find out about her and Sam...
"This case is Zoe's chance to prove herself as a police officer; this is her big moment."
Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on
