Home and Away star Sarah Roberts responds to Witness X fan reaction

 Home and Away star Sarah Roberts has discussed the dramatic reveal of Witness X.

In scenes that recently aired in Australia, Colby Thorne was sentenced to 25 years in prison. His trial went south for him when he learned that Witness X was Willow Harris, who had betrayed the killer and covertly recorded a confession from him.

Willow testified against him to protect Bella Nixon and Dean Thompson, but then fled Summer Bay in the aftermath.

In an interview with Australia's The Daily Telegraph, Sarah – who plays Willow – said that the big reveal resulted in a massive reaction from viewers.

"The response from fans has been overwhelming," she shared. "It was such a great storyline to sink my teeth into. It was so challenging."

Though Colby has been locked up, there promises to be plenty of drama in the aftermath.

A new Australian trailer hints that Colby – a policeman – could be targeted by his fellow prisoners behind bars, as Bella is concerned that there is a possibility he might be killed.

UK viewers will have to wait until early 2021 to see everything unfold. The UK's season finale airs tomorrow (November 20).
